KING EDI K is Edi Kistler (Liquits/Origāmi), multi-instrumentalist, founder of the record label Matanga Records, producer of emerging bands such as Sotomayor, Músicos de José, Tunkuy, Play & Movil Project, Hamurabi, among others. Releasing his debut solo project with original tracks that fuse the sound of West Africa in the 60s with electronic beats and synths. King Edi K is an electro-afrobeat Live Act Full Band with an arsenal of guest musicians improvising, joining a renewed afro scene, built by bands like Jungle Fire, Antibalas, Newen Afrobeat or Budos Band, among others.
A show that unites the tradition of the black music party and the dance floor of electronic music.
